Travis Allan

Travis Allan is the founder of Allan | Law & Policy. Travis works with governments at all levels on issues related to energy, climate and transportation electrification, with expertise in project and growth funding, regulatory and government relations matters. Travis has built legal teams both in-house at one of Canada’s largest EV charging companies and in private practise, helping companies raise over half a billion dollars in growth capital across a range of private equity, secured credit, project finance and alternative asset finance transactions. He has led complex transactions involving carbon credits and Clean Fuel Regulation compliance credits, project financing transactions opposite major lenders, including the Canada Infrastructure Bank and advised on energy and climate regulations across Canada for a range of global and domestic companies. Travis has been recognized as a Canadian to Watch by Automotive News Canada and a Leading Energy Lawyer in Canada by Who’s Who Legal. He has been involved in the development of many major transportation electrification policies and regulations across North America, including right to charge regulations, building codes promoting EV charging in multi-unit residential buildings, reliability and metrology regulations, clean fuels regulations, cap-and-trade and tailpipe emissions regulations.
